About Angelo Patane

 Angelo Patane is an attorney and off-roader with more than 32 years of legal experience. He has represented injury victims, defended people accused of negligence, and worked inside major insurance companies, giving him a rare perspective from both sides of the courtroom.

He is a member of ABOTA (American Board of Trial Advocates), an invitation-only group that includes the nation’s top trial lawyers.

Recently, Angelo served as Managing Attorney for the USAA and GEICO Staff Counsel offices in Arizona. In that role, he trained and mentored up to nine attorneys, managed a docket of 500–600 active cases, and still carried his own caseload. Over his tenure, he personally reviewed or supervised more than 3,500 litigated matters.

Angelo has first-chaired about 30 jury trials and has resolved hundreds more through arbitration and mediation. In addition, he taught 12 semesters as an adjunct Professor of Law at an ABA-accredited law school.

His career has spanned both private practice—running his own law firm focused on personal injury—and years of leadership inside insurance companies such as USAA, GEICO, and Farmers Insurance.  

Early in his career, he was part of the three-attorney team that secured a record-setting $1.5 billion jury verdict, still the largest in Arizona history.

In total, Angelo has spent over 16 years representing injured plaintiffs and more than 15 years defending insurance companies, giving him unmatched insight into how to build strong cases and counter opposing tactics.
